Hi all,

I have two content types

- Parent
- Child

I have made an embedded type, on Parent. This is for the type of Child.
I then click on the link for linked elements, but the dialogs list is empty, I can create a new child but cant add an existing one.

Any help on this?

Yes, you cannot add an existing Child item. The popup dialog only shows the child items that belongs to the parent item.

If you want add an existing one, maybe you can do it like this:

1. create a extra field called "ParentUUID" in your child content type.
2. Edit the existing child item in Child folder and then input the value of the parent's UUID into "ParentUUID".

Embeded content is a one to many relationship so you cant chose existing items.

But with category relation you can add existing items.
