Kooboo team is busy with version 2.0 right now. There are a few highlights.

1. SQLite supports. You will be able to work with Kooboo Sqlite version without the need of MSSQL which some hosting does not supports

2. Publishing service. You can easily publish content from one Kooboo instance to another Kooboo instance. Manage your site and content in your intranet servers or your local PC and publish them to remote Kooboo instance.

3. Linq provider for Content repository. You will be able to use Linq syntax to query Kooboo content.

Besides this, we are setting up a small team to build 100s site packages so that people can download and have a site ready instantly.

Vincent

Can you provide a rough estimate of the release date?

Yes, Kooboo 2.0 around middle of Jan. 2010.

About the 100s site packages, I need at least 3 months because our new people for this project will join our company in two months.

Hi

will Kooboo 2.0 still be a MVC1 application, or will it already use MVC2?

If not, do you have any plans to support MVC2 in the future?

Marcel
