Hi,

I'm using kooboo 2.0 and I'm trying to get my sites to work with the domains. I have built about 20 sites based off a main application like the root and they work when I view them through the preview page but they don't work when I try to view them with the domain. Any ideas why this happens???

sample:
Works: http://67.199.74.158/c-Stowie_SA/Contact-Us

Doesn't work: http://www.sa-accidentlawyer.com/Contact-Us

Please help!!!

Thanks

First you have to make sure that all the DNS and IIS setting are correct. you may ask your system admin or hosting provider for this.

For what I see now, sa-accidentlawyer.com is point to IP: 67.199.82.186, which is different from above IP address.

After everything is correctly configured, you can click on any application inside Kooboo, select "property", there you can fill in the domains for that Kooboo application.

The reason for the different ips is that the 158 ip is the main host. Sa-accidentlawyer will have a different one since its a different domain and will have different domain. I will check the dns but still don't understand why the preview works and noy the domain. Let me know if you know of anything else.

You have to configure Sa-accidentlawyer into the same IIS website of the Kooboo CMS.

It looks like Sa-accidentlawyer is processed by another IIS website, Kooboo can not take control of that domain.

ok tried and it didn't work.

DNS IP matches IIS IP.
IIS home directory is pointed to the kooboo source folder

Any other ideas?

dsanchez,

I see it now that you did configure sa-accidentlawyer.com to run under Kooboo cms now. So that is not an issue.

Right click on the application of "Stowie_SA" under Kooboo CMS, select property, in the domain fields, enter both www. sa-accidentlawyer.com and sa-accidentlawyer.com, separated by ",".

Make sure that above domains was not entered into other Kooboo application.

If it still did not work out. if it is possible for you, you can PM me your login, I will fix it for you.
Regards,

Vincent
